I have been considering moving to Las Vegas with some new friends in a couple of months. I doubt I will, just because I really like where I am at now, and it would be hard to leave my dad to run the bar all by himself... but wow would that be an experience. My dad actually thinks I should do it, though, so who knows.
I guess I never wrote about what happened on memorial day... we were grilling out at the pool, and Poul decided to bring the ping pong table out to the pool area. We ended up playing beer pong against neighbors who were out there, people our age and people our parents ages. It was weird. My roomates are obsessed with beer pong, I realize I talk about it in most of my entries now.
I have never been a big Foo Fighters fan, but their new song "Best of You" is great, check it out.

What a night. My roommate mark and I were undefeated in tonight's beer pong tournament, 4 - 0. If we didn't play almost every night, I would think that was a big deal. Living here has been pretty ridiculous.
We made weed brownies the other night. We each ate 2 brownies, but after 10 minutes passed and Poul said things like "this isnt going to work", we each ate about 1 1/2 more brownies. 30 minutes later we were all fucked up. We all passed out soon afterwards, but everyone agrees that for the 30 minutes or so we were awake and really high, it was really great. Next time I plan on not eating so many, that was a bad idea.
Has anyone been to Northcross Mall recently? What the hell happened, that mall sucks now. Luckily when me and a friend were shopping in 1 of the 4 stores, Bealls, he found a gift card on the ground woth 70 dollars. Isn't that ridiculous?! Too bad Bealls sucks and after searching the entire store we found only 2 things to buy.

I didn't think I would like him at first, but now all we do here is listen to Michael Buble and play the Playboy Sims game. It's great.
I have been so busy lately. I work 6 days a week now, because my mom has decided she just doesn't feel like/want to work anymore. Crappy of her, but she does this often, so it's no big shocker. On the plus side, I have been making a ton of money. It is a lot more fun there when my mom isn't around constantly nagging and hardly working, too.
I have been wanting to take my puppy to the park so badly. I would take her at night, but every time I've been to the park in Georgetown at night there are some real shady people there, wanting to fight and stuff. Also I think park's are only "open" at certain times, so going there at 2 a.m. would only result in getting talked to by cops, I'm sure. I think that's a dumb law, it is unfair. 2 am is like the afternoon for me, but nothing is open so instead I have to hang out on the internet, bored.
Mates of State are playing at Emo's this weekend. The only other person I know who likes them will be out of town though. I hate going to shows alone, especially a band like this where I only like a minority of their songs. So I will probably skip it.
Tonight when I was driving down Howard Ln, it was like these people were trying to run me off the road. It felt like a bad horror movie. I was actually scared for my life, and that isnt a fun feeling.
The other night a guy came in and recognized my dad. Turns out he's the kid who was always at the country club when we were, 10 years ago! I remember being 9 and he was probably 17 and I thought he was so cute. Also a weird coincidence is that his stepdad was my favorite teacher ever. It's a small world after all.

My dad is very likeable. Every time I see Fear Factor on tv I want to go on that show, because I really think I could win. Especially the eating part, which is what most people seem to have the most problems with. It's all mind of matter when it comes to eating nasty stuff. And swallowing things whole.
Everytime I start really loving my job, something happens to make me dislike it. Like tonight when I was leaving and a customer said "Bye honey, love you." WEIRDO. The honey part isn't so bad, because he's not gay but he's one of those guys who says things like honey and sweetie and acts gay sometimes to try to get a laugh. It never works. Anyways, I know this guy comes in every night and calls it his "second home" and I see him more often than I see... pretty much anyone, because I'm not kidding when I say he comes to our bar every night for at least 4 hours... that still is kinda creepy that he tells his bartender that. Barflies, they are weird.
I have to wake up in 5 hours to go get an eye exam. :( I've been wearing these one-month contacts for about 6 months now, so I'm looking forward to some fresh ones.

But doesn't it bother anyone else about the fact that the people who live there don't want us there to help, yet we are still giving them a ton of money? And doesn't it bother anyone else that there are plenty of people who could use charity money in the USA, perhaps the people who just lost their homes and family members in the mudslides, or all the towns messed up by so much rain, or the thousands of homeless people? What's been donated now, like 7 billion dollars (that's what I heard, sorry if thats wrong)... oh what we could do to help our own country with 7 billion dollars. I'm not saying the people in Thailand and etc don't need/deserve donations, I'm just saying that I think it's crappy of them to say they don't want our help. That sucks, but at least I know things are kinda clean. Well tonight, I had just gotten done showering, and I was at my locker changing, and luckily I already had my pants on, but as I was putting on my bra I hear the door open and shut and in walks a male janitor! WTF?!?!1?! There was no "hello, anyone in here?" And there were at least 3 other women at the gym at the time. I feel kinda horrible for not getting it repaired and pocketing the money instead... but I'm just way too broke right now.
My friend's cat was acting a little weird, so she took the cat to the vet. 6 hours later the vet calls her and says her cat died, they don't know why exactly the cat died, but they're still going to charge her $140 for whatever medicine they gave her cat. ???.
I went to San Antonio last weekend! It was fun, although I will never go to a mall with Shane ever again. The Express game was great, I got my boob signed by Jimerson! Jimerson still loves Carl more though, since Carl is the biggest fan he's ever had and all.

I'm buying tickets online sometime tomorrow (Friday) because I'm going to be real pissed off if I get there and it's sold out. So let me know and I'll get a ticket for you. $6.

Some old senile man hit my car at Wal-Mart. I was driving and he was supposed to stop and yield to me, but nope! He dented right underneath my passenger's door, which could possibly really suck for him if they have to replace that whole panel. Also he fucked up my side bar. I hope that's expensive to replace. I wouldn't mind if he screwed up the frame either, because it wouldn't hurt to have that fixed. I'm about to go talk to my insurance people, then go get it appraised. Then the question will be, take the money or take the repairs? People are being real funny about it. My mom is hoping they can't match the paint color so I can get a whole new paint job (which would be cool, but won't happen, it's a pretty common jeep color). Then of course I've heard the "is your neck hurting *wink*wink*" bit a couple times.
So anyways, this old man was so ridiculous. He kept trying to blame ME for it, when it was obvious that I was halfway past him when he hit me. He said I was driving too fast... which is bs, but it wouldn't matter anyways because I still had the right of way. The cop even explained to him that it was his error, but this guy continued the whole time on how it was my fault. Then he didn't have up to date insurance, but he is a stupid old man and thought it was up to date so the cop had to argue with him for 10 minutes about that. At the end of it all, after he was being such a dick, he must have finally realized how screwed he was, so he shook my hand and said "no hard feelings". Ha.

I had a blast this weekend... Shane and I ate a lot of sushi, and I finally learned how to use chopsticks. Then we went to Schlitterbahn on Sunday and decided to just hang out and drink a lot of beer, so we only rode 4 rides, but it was the most fun I've ever had there. On one ride Shane flipped over after a short drop, and this man in front of us started laughing at him, and people above us pointed and laughed, then when he tried to get back on his tube he flipped over again, and the man in front laughed louder and shouted "Hahahaaa, you flipped over TWICE!!!" It was great.
Today was pretty crappy though. When I tried to leave my car was dead, and Shane was at work, so I sat outside his door reading magazines. I thought I'd have to do this for 3 hours, but then a guy he works with who i had met before walked by and said i could hang out with him because he had the day off. Worst idea everrrrr. So his room is a complete mess, I somehow managed to find a spot on the bed clear enough to sit. He's playing a tape of the Talking Heads live in concert so I try to get interested in that, then he starts singing along, then he gets out his guitar and starts playing along. Oh did I mention this guy has the worst mustache ever? Because he did. So I had to watch him play like 12 songs on guitar, 6 on bass, and thennnn he busts out his keyboard! If anyone has seen that episode of Friends where Ross makes a song on the keyboard with weird noises, this is exactly what this guy was doing... It was like this "Weeeeoooooo Weeeeoooooo Boiiiing EeeeeEEEEeeeEEE Crash ooOOooOOooOOoo". I wanted to die, but all I could stammer out was "oh that's... cool". THEN he goes to his closet to show me his Beaver Police hat. WTF?! Um awkward. I wanted to tell him he's the sorta person who should own and actively wear a "Mustache Rides" tshirt, but I held back. Finally after 2 1/2 hours with him I left to go back to sitting in front of Shane's door. We got my car started and I got to the bar, where my mom tells me...
My dog died. I've had my dog, Spot, since I was about 6, so he was pretty old. I had talked to Shane on Friday about how I think he should be put to sleep. I guess he died on Saturday. I feel pretty lousy about it.
